Sun Microsystems and the GlassFish community recently announced the availability of Sun GlassFish Enterprise Server v3.
This is an application server compatible with Java EE is the most frequently downloaded in the industry, with more than 24 million downloads to this day. Sun GlassFish Enterprise Server v3 provides solutions enterprise-level application server based on open source to customers that focus on reducing the complexity of the application and use.
Sun GlassFish Enterprise Server v3 is the first application server in the industry that supports the Java Platform Enterprise Edition 6 (Java EE 6) is new. Java EE 6 features introduced to enhance the flexibility of the platform and enable the company to use the new Web Profile mild, but a complete enterprise platform.
