New Defects In Internet Explorer 8 (IE8)

Just one day earlier after Microsoft released an emergency software update to patch flaws in Internet Explorer (IE), Internet security firm discovered other weaknesses again. Core Security Technologies, based in London found a weakness on Friday, January 22, 2010, a day earlier after Microsoft released an emergency patch to protect users from cyber attacks.

Public glare is now increasingly focused on IE, after Microsoft acknowledged that it was responsible for the burglary of action of some Gmail accounts activist Human Rights (HAM) in China. Burglary which happened some time ago was because hackers using the existing gap in IE6. France and Germany even to insist on using IE prohibit their citizens and suggested that computer users download and use an alternative web browser.

Core Security Technologies claims to have found another weakness in the broken IE vulnerable to hackers and used to access the personal data of the owner of a remote computer. Microsoft also responded to these claims seriously and immediately conduct an investigation.

"Microsoft immediately investigated the report. These days we are not aware of attacks seeking to exploit the weaknesses of IE. Once we complete the investigation, we will take appropriate steps to help protect users," Microsoft spokesman said as quoted by the Telegraph, Tuesday ( 26/1/2010).

But until now Microsoft has not officially released a patch that promises. Instead, Microsoft released an emergency patch as a form of first aid to protect its users.

Microsoft also recommends IE users to upgrade their IE to the latest version of IE8. This browser is more secure claimed its users from attacks
