Symantec Introducing Norton 360 Version 4.0 Beta

Symantec Corp. revealed that the data prove the effectiveness of a new model of strong protection codenamed "Quorum," is now present also as part of Norton 360 version 4.0 beta.

Security software package all-in-one fast next version of Symantec and light displays various improvements on the PC TuneUp, backups, and other aspects of the product. Norton 360 beta is compatible with Microsoft Windows 7, as well as the products recently launched, Norton Internet Security 2010 and Norton AntiVirus 2010.

Introduced last month with Norton products 2010, code name "Quorom" using attributes unique files such as age, source download, digital signature, and the level of distribution, to measure reputation.

Quorum also update the reputation of a file when the file is changed over time. Since its release, the model's current protection tracked 70 million unique files, with the benefit of input from more than 35 million members of Norton Community Watch is anonymous. In addition, the current technology to identify one million new files each week.

In addition to the protection and performance, Norton 360 beta also includes improvements to the features consumers most appreciated as a PC TuneUp and backups. This latest version relies on improvements that are designed to save users time, improve PC performance, and brings the convenience of not burdening the mind.

Consumers can save time boot-up by using the features Smart Start-up Manager to reduce the start-up time applications. For users backup, Norton 360 beta offers the ability to backup files online, and to restore or access it from anywhere via the Web.
