SanDisk Will launch SD Cards 32 GB

SanDisk flash memory card Manufacturer launches Secure Digital (SD) cards capacity of 32GB. The memory card was launched to meet the market development of the growing smartphone.

"With so many photos, videos and music you want included in the phone, the user would need a memory card with large capacity, and now we think every cell phone owner has to have such a large memory component," said COO of SanDisk, Sanjay Mehrotra as quoted V3 , Tuesday (23/3/2010).

Mehrotra said the 32GB capacity is the biggest capacity for an SD card in the market. The plan, SanDisk will market the new memory card for the U.S. market. whereas for the European continent will be present in April 2010.

The price offered for the SD card is approximately USD199. In the future, San Disk is also planning to produce the SD card with 64GB capacity. The company also stated that a SD card can achieve up to 2TB capacity (Tera Byte).
