Microsoft officially will launch Office 2010 for the business segment on May 12, 2010. whereas for the consumer segment, Office 2010 will be launched in June 2010.

Microsoft also provides free software upgrades for customers who buy Office 2007 from now to 30 September. Thus was launched Computerworld, Monday (8/3/2010). Previously, Microsoft heralded will release Office 2010 to March 2010, however, it is denied by Microsoft itself with the official release date of software to support these work activities.
Microsoft plans to put a price four retail versions of Office 2010 at a price of USD99 to USD499. This price, according to Microsoft, is still equal to the price of the previous Office. When launch, Office 2007 software programs valued at a price almost the same. Even Office 2007 is one of the two products that are considered sufficient to provide benefits for Microsoft.
Microsoft is rumored to be selling a version for the academy (education) at a price of USD99, basic version costing USD149 for consumers, and several software packages for full-featured business at a price of USD499
