Find Chile Earthquake Victims in "Chilepersonfinder.appspot.com"

Google launches new service to help search for victims of an earthquake in Chile. Through Chilepersonfinder.appspot.com services, one can find relatives, family or friends who became victims of the earthquake. Application service is available in two languages, Spanish and English. Thus was launched the AFP, Monday (1/3/2010).

Users simply enter the name of the victim who wanted to find whether the status has been found or not. Choice questions and statements given is' I'm looking for someone "and" I have information about a person ".

Until last Saturday afternoon, Google's 'Person Finder' has been tracking the status of approximately 1,400 people. This service is also actually applied when searching Google to help earthquake victims in Haiti, last month. At that time, Google has recorded approximately 58,700 track search.

As is known, Chile earthquake occurred on February 27, 2010 with the power of 8.8 on the Richter Scale. Point is at the epicenter of the earthquake off the coast of Maule, approximately 6.4 km west Curanipe, Chile and 115 north-northeast of the second largest city in Chile, Concepcion.
